Executive Biographies
Kent Weaver, CEO
Kent leads the Progressive family with a passionate focus on creating a world-class clinical team and successfully expanding our regional presence to include Sacramento, Placer, El Dorado and Nevada Counties. Kent is most proud of the high quality of personalized care that our clinicians provide for each patient every day of the year.
He has over 25 years of management experience in strategic planning, leadership development and marketing with companies such as PepsiCo and Ernst & Young. Kent holds a BS in Finance from the University of Southern California and an MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA. He lives with his wife and four children in Placer County and enjoys exploring the natural wonders of this beautiful region.
Maureen Cody, Senior Nursing Director and Director of Education
Maureen has been with Progressive for over 20 years and has over 25 years of experience in home healthcare. Maureen has been instrumental in developing a knowledgeable and caring nursing team who treats patients with compassion, expertise and deep clinical knowledge. Prior to Progressive, she worked in hospitals providing critical care to orthopedic and medical surgical patients.
Maureen is a R.N. and holds a BS in Nursing from Humboldt State University. She also has certification through the US Dept. of Health in Geriatric Nursing and a Certificate of Care for Spinal Injury. Maureen lives in the Sierra Foothills and has raised four grown children in this area.
Dinah Gibbs, Director of Rehabilitation Services
Dinah was Progressive’s first physical therapist when our doors opened in 1994. She has since developed the Rehabilitation staff to almost 40 clinicians and is proud of its reputation for clinical excellence. Dinah has over 40 years of direct clinical experience as an acute hospital inpatient therapist, outpatient therapist, home healthcare therapist and acute rehabilitation therapist. She also has managed and supervised clinical teams for 20 years.
Dinah graduated at the top of her class from Loma Linda University and was named Physical Therapist of the Year by United Parkinsons Association. She is an equestrian enthusiast and takes advantage of this region’s lovely trails for horseback riding, cycling and hiking.
